The Winnsboro Lady Raiders picked-up where they left off last season. At least as far as the regular season goes. The Lady Raiders opened up the non-district portion of thier season with a 57-36 win over the John Tyler Lady Lions. Winnsboro, as they did last season are ranked number 1 in class 2A this season.

The Lady Raiders game against Robert E. Lee has been moved. Originally scheduled for Saturday, November 15, is now going to be played, Friday, November 14.
The Rains Lady Cats opened up their basketball season with an impressive, 91-39 win over Wills Point, Tuesday. The Lady Cats were led by Bailey Moon and Payton Hooten, who combined for 38 points. Next, the Rains Lady Cats will play host to the Lady Bulldogs of Edgewood on Tuesday, November 18.
