The Golden community turned out for a benefit lunch and auction honoring Jason Hightower on Sunday. Dozens of folks showed up for the event which featured  several items of country music memorabilia and one, very fancy cake made by Leigha Todd-Davis owner of Baby Cakes (see photo). Event organizers said they raised more than $2,500 for the Hightower family. Additionally, many of the auction items have been donated to the station to be included in the Children's Miracle Network auction scheduled for May 29th. |
