After a first half, in which both teams struggled to gain yards, the Lindale Eagles and the Henderson Lions put on a show in the second half.

Heading in at the half with a score of 7 -7, both teams knew that changes needed to be made.  That is exactly what happened.  In the second half Lindales Matt Broussard started with a 63 yard run for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage and the scoring began.

This scoring frenzy led to a final score of 42-28 with Lindale winning to put themselves in place for a very important match-up against Jacksonville on Friday, November 6th and clinched a playoff birth for the Eagles as well.

"We played a little sloppy at times but I will take a sloppy win over a well played loss anyday" Mike Meador said after the game.

Meadors claimed "These boys have played there hearts out the last few games and Lindale has a lot to be proud of."

During this game, both Broussard and Keandre Ross reached the 1000 yard rushing mark for the season.

As one fan stated during the post game celebration, "Some people in this town (Lindale) just don't know what they are missing, not coming to these games"

Lindale will be facing the Jacksonville Indians, for the District Title, Friday November 6th at 7:30 pm in Jacksonville.
