A Wood County home is being featured in this year’s Tyler Area Parade of Homes.
Thirty-six residential structures are showcased in this year’s Parade of Homes, including the home built by Wood County’s own Erin Wright. Ms. Wright, a Wood County native, has worked in the construction business for the past 8 years and has built over 30 homes. The home is located in the Crystal Sands Estates at Lake Hawkins. The house is a one story structure constructed with a mix of Cortentm, Creosote and Oklahoma stone topped off with a nice metal 60’x80’ canopy. The house has many unique features, including a bottle wall, reclaimed wood ceilings and a wood cedar tub. The house abounds in aesthetic character and charm and is also extremely efficient. This home has a Home Energy Rating Score Program index figure below 60, which makes for a more affordable, comfortable and healthier-built home. The Wright-built home is located at 2900 CR 3419, Hawkins, 75765. Maps and directions for each home are detailed online at tylerareabuilders.com.
The Tyler Area Builders Association Parade of Homes runs from June 2-10, and proceeds benefit Azleway Boy’s Ranch, Children's Miracle Network & Children's Village.
Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
