| Young pleads guilty in Burrell death |

The woman charged with Accident Causing Serious Bodily Injury/Death after hitting Mineola High School Student Jacob Burrell with her vehicle last October has pleaded guilty. Burrell died from injuries sustained in the accident. Connie Young of Golden entered a guilty plea yesterday. According to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office, Young received 10 years probation, 160 hours of community service, a $10,000 fine and $341 in court costs. The charge is a third degree felony and carried a maximum sentenced of 10 years in prison. |
