Van Zandt County authorities and the Texas Rangers are investigating a body found in a box yesterday afternoon near Wills Point.

Authorities say the body was discovered in a storage trunk on FM 47 just north of Wills Point. The Greenville Police Department was notified that body was that of a black female because they are investigating the disappearance of a missing 16-year-old that may fit the description.
