You might have heard something recently about the negotiation between Suddenlink Cable and News Corp or Fox Networks.
Their current agreement expires at 5pm today and they’re working on a new agreement. Fox wants a nearly 25% increase in what they’re paid.
While Fox owns one of the Fox TV stations on the Suddenlink line up, there’s another Fox station on with Suddenlink, (KFXK TV channel 12 in Tyler, Channel 17 in Mineola). And that Fox station is not affected by this situation., as it is owned by a different company. Despite today’s negotiations between Suddenlink and Fox, Suddenlink customers will have at least one Fox TV station.
