Van Zandt County Sheriff Lindsey Ray continues to make changes in the County in his first week as Sheriff.
Ray says more patrols cars have hit the streets.
“During my campaign I emphasized that if elected I would ensure more patrols by law enforcement,” Sheriff Ray said. “I have put CID Officers on Patrol and have already received feedback that more patrol cars have been seen around the county.”
Sheriff Ray said the Department has had to be resourceful in their effort to put more cars on the roadways without costing the taxpayers extra money.
The Sheriff ensures that the Department is also working to ensure cases being investigated before the New Year will still be pursued by the new administration.
