State Troopers are searching today for a suspect involved in a hit and run near Gilmer that left one person dead.

 Authorities say a motorcycle rider wrecked last night on FM 726 near FM 1650. A single Cab pickup then drove by the rider striking while on the road, and left the scene. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
