Two Hopkins County inmates have escaped from the Hopkins County Jail.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, 45-year-old Brian Allen Tucker and 40-year-old John Marlin King escaped from the jail early Tuesday morning. Tucker was awaiting trial for capital murder, King had been indicted for evading arrest.
Tucker is described as 5'7", 171 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a light mustache and goatee, with a tattoo around his neck, like barbed wire. King is 5'8", 165 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. He has a light mustache and goatee. It is believed that they have changed out of their prison stripes.
Suplur Springs ISD and Winnsboro ISD each were put on lockdown until further notice.
