|Pond management field day to be held in East Texas|

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Wood, Rains, and Van Zandt Counties will be having a Pond Management Field Day on April 26, 2013 at Greene’s Lake outside of Emory.
Topics on the program are Water Quality Management, Pond Weed I.D. and Control, and Fish Stocking Rates and Management. Dr. Billy Higginbotham (Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Wildlife & Fishery Science Specialist) is the speaker for the program. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. Cost of the program is $10. Two (2) CEU’s will be given towards the Private Applicator License. Bring pond weeds to the program for a proper I.D. and management recommendations.
