|HWY 80 Car Cruise set for this weekend|

The HWY 80 Progressive Car Cruise will make its through East Texas this weekend.
The cruise begins this Saturday at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast in Wills Point, and then will travel to Grand Saline for lunch, Mineola for dessert and dinner in Gladewater. The cruise will give the public a chance to show their classic cars in four different cities along the 65-mile cruise, all in one day.
Different music, Entertainment, and prizes will be provided at each stop.
In the City of Mineola, citizens are encouraged to bring a canned food donation to benefit local food pantries. Each can donated will entitle the person donating to a vote for their favorite car.
Lynda Rauscher, City of Mneola Community Development Director, said, “for every can you bring you will to vote for the most special car and the trophies weill be given out that evening in Gladewater.”
Regisration begins at daylight in Wills Point, TX. Early registration fees are $25 and include an event T-shirt. Day of registration is $30.
