7:47am A two vehicle accident was reported at the 700 Blk. West Broad Street. Meredith Stone, of Mineola wastraveling East in the 700 Blk. of West Broad Street, driving a 2009 Chrysler Aspen, when Jaleesa Pitts of Mineola pulled in front of the Chrysler from the 100 Block of Cheek Street, driving a 2007 Mercedes. All occupants of the vehicles, including two children with Ms. Pitts were transported to Christus TrinityMother Frances in Tyler.

8:38am An officer responded to the Mineola Community Care on Mimosa Street in reference to a threat made by
a family member of one the residents.

9:56pm An anonymous caller reported a male at the football stadium walking around the parking lot trying tostart a fight with others. The male was gone upon the officers arrival. Officers were able to locate three males involved in the verbal dispute and they had already went separate ways.

1:43pm A one vehicle rollover accident was reported at the North exit/entrance of Walmart. Arlen Roy Teeters, of Mineola was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup in the 2100 Blk. North Pacific when the vehicle lost control on the wet street and hit the stop sign at the entrance of Walmart and then rolled over, hitting a tree and the wooden privacy fence. Mr. Teeters was extricated from the vehicle by the Mineola Fire Departmentand then transported to UT Health East Texas in Tyler.

3:02pm A two vehicle accident was reported in the 500 Blk. East Broad Street. John Pemberton Jr., of Mineola, was traveling West on East Broad Street, driving a 2001 Ford F250 and attempted to turn left into Ace Hardware. Mr. Pemberton turned in the path of a 2001 Ford Ranger, driven by Jung Nam Min of Hawkins that was traveling East on East Broad Street. Mr. Min was transported to UT Health East Texas in Quitman.

3:03pm A welfare concern was reported on Commerce Street when a man was seen hitting the dash of his vehicle,while yelling and cursing. An officer responded and made contact with the man. The man said he was upset over relationship issues. After contact with the officer the man said he was going home.

4:54pm A man reported he left his residence with the doors locked. When he returned the front door was openand things were scattered around inside his residence. The man did not find anything missing. No forced entry into the residence was noted.

7:32pm Todd Allen Karch, of Mineola, was arrested on Inwood Street for an outstanding warrant out of Wood County District Court for Online Solicitation of a Minor.

9:37pm Clint Edward Cash, of Bullard, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance over 4 grams under 200 grams after he was stopped on South Pacific for failure to signal lane change.

5:35pm An off duty officer approached a man after he saw him in Walmart to let him know he had a misdemeanor warrant out of Mineola Police Department. The officer provided the man with credentials showing him he was an officer. The officer advised the man to walk with him outside, so he could be picked up by a patrol unit. The man took off on foot. Charges are pending for Evading Arrest.

12:11pm Levi Lynn Moss, of Mineola, was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Theft after Walmart reported Moss was back in the store after being trespassed from the store. Moss was loading stolen merchandise into his vehicle when the officer arrived. The merchandise was returned to Walmart.

6:57pm A reckless driver was reported on South Pacific. The complainant reported the vehicle was not able to maintain a single lane. The officer was able to get the vehicle stopped and found no signs of intoxication.

1:56pm Walmart reported a theft by a woman that left without paying. This is under investigation with a suspect.

11:37pm A welfare concern was reported in reference to a woman on West Broad Street sitting in a vehicle appearing to need help. The officer responded, but could not find the woman or the vehicle.

1:51am A woman at the Express Wash on North Pacific reported a suspicious person outside the laundry mat. The officers responded but the man left before the officers arrived.

2:55am A man reported his daughter was at an unknown address on Newsom Street and was in an argument with her boyfriend. The officer patrolled the area and was unable to locate an address, because of the lack of information.

3:06pm MISD reported a suspicious person in a wooded area near the football field. Officers responded and patrolled the area but did not find anyone.

3:22pm Missy’s Hair Salon reported a theft when a woman put merchandise in her pocket and walked out. The property was returned. The suspect was trespassed and a citation was issued for theft.

4:08pm A verbal disturbance was reported on Francis Street when a resident was advising a person to leave their property but they refused. While the complainant was on the phone with the police department theperson left the residence. The officer responded anyway and ended up speaking with both parties.

5:31pm A welfare concern was reported at Walmart parking lot when a dog was left in a vehicle. The complainant said the window were down about 2 inches, but still felt it was too hot. An officer responded to investigate the complaint, but the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.

Kilpatrick Street, on an outstanding Smith County felony warrant.
