10:01am M.I.S.D. reported a suspicious person picking up trash in the parking lot at the middle school. An officer responded and found that the man was working under supervision for community service hours.

12:18pm An assault was reported on W. Kilpatrick by a woman that was assaulted by her boyfriend. A warrant has been issued for Assault family violence.

3:49pm A criminal mischief was reported by a woman in the Walmart parking lot. An ex-male friend of the woman busted the back glass out of her vehicle. The woman declined to file charges at this time, because the man said he would pay for the replacement of the back glass.

4:25pm An officer responded to South Street due to a parent requesting our assistance with an 11 child that would not obey.

5:55pm A report of a gunshot was reported on Goodson Street by a man that said he heard a loud pop just outside his residence. When the officer responded and investigated the complaint, it was found that some friends had thrown a firecracker to pull a prank on the man. The officer issued a verbal warning in reference to fireworks inside the city limits.

7:25pm A welfare concern was reported when a woman was reportedly traveling very slow on South Pacific in the inside lane of traffic. The officer stopped the vehicle to check the welfare and found everything to be fine.

8:46am M.I.S.D. reported an unruly juvenile that was disrupting class. An officer responded and transported the student to the police department to meet with the parent and to allow class to resume. No criminal charges were filed.

9:46am A hit and run was reported at the Walmart parking lot. An officer reviewed video and found that the
shopping carts had rolled into the vehicle.

4:34pm A woman reported a man that was trespassing on her property on West Broad. The woman reported the man had been coming onto her property and spraying her plants and grass with something that was killing the plants.

6:25pm A man reported his phone was stolen from his vehicle while he was at the Nature Preserve.9:40pm Nolan Ryan Hatmon of Brashear, Texas was arrested for DWI during a traffic stop on McDaniels Street for a defected tail lamp.

1:26pm A woman on Goodson Circle reported a verbal altercation she had with a neighbor over kids bouncing a ball in front of her apartment door.

3:30pm A reckless driver was reported to be driving on the wrong side of the roadway on West Broad. When the officer responded he found the vehicle to be parked at a business on West Broad.

5:04pm A Wigley Street resident reported two women going door to door selling a product, but they did not have a permit. When the officer made contact with the women they were told to discontinue the sales until apermit was issued.

7:24pm A welfare concern was reported in reference to a man drinking and driving with children in the vehicle on West Broad. An officer stopped the vehicle on East Broad and the driver had a suspended driver’s license. Johnathon David Norton, of Mineola, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended.

5:30pm A welfare concern was reported by a friend of an elderly woman on North Newsom. The caller reported he had not been able to speak with his friend for a few hours and felt we needed to check on her. The officer responded and found that she was fine.

8:16pm A woman reported suspicious activity at the Relax Inn on East Broad Street when a man came to her door asking for help. The officer responded and found that the man had a room at the same motel. He was told by the officers that he needed to stay in his room for the night and leave others alone.

8:54pm A verbal disturbance was reported over child custody at a residence on North Johnson Street. An officer responded and the two worked out the civil issue.

11:12pm A welfare concern was reported by Wood County S.O. when a female caller reported to them that she was trying to get into her residence on North Pacific Street with her child and her boyfriend would not let her in. An officer responded to the location and found that the female had already left by the time he arrived and everything was fine.

3:24pm A welfare concern was reported at the Andrew Center when a 10 year old boy would not go into the Andrew Center for his appointment and had crawled under the car, refusing to come out. The officers responded to talk to him and talked him into going into his counseling session.

5:16pm Vicki Payne, of Alba, was arrested for a warrant out of Wood County for Hindering Apprehension after she was stopped on East Broad for a traffic violation.

6:20pm A welfare concern was reported on West Blair Street when a 2-year-old child ran across the street unsupervised. The officer spoke with the parent and found that the child was outside with the other
children and the parent took her eyes off of her for a second. The parent said they would watch her better.

10:34pm Jeremay Lipscomb, of Mineola, was arrested for an outstanding Mineola warrant for Evading Arrest or Detention. Lipscomb was approached at Walmart by an off duty Mineola officer and told he had a class C warrant. The officer identified himself and advised Lipscomb to walk with him to the front where an officer was going to pick him up. Lipscomb took off running from the officer and left the store before the on duty officer arrived.

11:34pm A woman reported she had been stalked by a man that sits at the Express Wash while she is there. The officer responded and spoke with the man. The man left the location and was warned about a possible stalking charge.

6:51pm A woman reported she had received a threatening face book post. This is under investigation.

2:52pm A disturbance was reported on North Pacific when a 14 was threatening his parents. The officers spoke with the juvenile and the parents. The parents agreed to take the juvenile to the hospital for an evaluation.

3:15pm A disturbance was reported on Goodson Circle when a family member showed up at the woman’s residence threatening her while displaying a knife. This is under investigation.

3:43pm A man reported he had lost his wallet at Cross Country Foods on South Pacific Street. The surveillance
video revealed the man left with is wallet.

4:14pm A sexual assault was reported that occurred in 2010. This is under investigation.5:03 pm A man reported he was at his ex-girlfriend’s residence on West Kilpatrick Street, attempting to pick up hischildren for a visit, but the children’s mother would not let him have the children. The man was explained to by an officer that the matter is civil.

7:05pm A suspicious man was reported that had knocked on a door on Brett Street earlier in the day.

7:27pm Wood County S.O. asked for assistance to help locate suspects that were involved in a disturbance. The suspects were not located.

11:26pm A disturbance was reported on Goodson Circle. When the officers responded it was found to be verbal only. The two were separated for the night.
