One person is dead and two others jailed after the three jumped on and rode a train. According to Hopkins County officials, a deceased body was found late Tuesday night on HWY 11 between Pickton and Winnsboro. "We received a call around 9:24 p.m. from Kansas City Southern Railroad that a body had been found of the train track," said Ron Lowrie of the Hokins County Sheriff's Office. "After an investigation we determined that the subject and two other individauls had been riding the train from Wylie, TX. The deceased fell through an open car and was pronounced dead at the scene." Wednesday morning the two surviving men were arrested for Criminal Trespass after the train stopped in Camp County and was searched. 28-year-old Lindsey Richards and 39-year-old Ryan Baker are in the Camp County jail today. |
