The Ben Wheeler man arrested in March of last year for brutally beating his wife has pleaded guilty.

Josh Holden agreed to a plea deal that could put him behind bars until the year 2053. Holden will be eligible for parole in 20 years.

Holden allegedly tortured his wife Lisa for seven years. Last year Lisa fled from the Ben Wheeler home she had been locked in and hid in a wooded area until she was found and taken to authorities.
