Mineola and Quitman firefighters responded to a house fire late Wednesday afternoon at Lake Holbrook.

Officials say the blaze began just before 4 p.m.

The home belonging to Charles George was almost completely destroyed in the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

No injuries were reported.
