Wood County Sheriff Jim Brown says CID investigators have been busy this week. According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Report, Investigator Kyle Henson closed 10 cases; obtained a warrant and arrested Michael Ray Bolden, 29, of Mineola on a charge of Indecency with a Child; attended several CAC (Child Advocacy Center) interviews; re-evaluated 2 assault cases for the DA’s office and consulted with Texas Ranger John Vance on several pending cases. Investigator Carolyn Tanner is working 37 open cases, including multiple copper theft cases and has identified a suspect in one case and obtained 6 felony warrants in a separate aggravated assault case. Investigator Jacob Richardson was able to recover some stolen property and return it to its rightful owner and wrote a warrant for a suspect in another theft case. Investigator Richardson, assisted by Investigator Brian Andrews traveled to the Hawkins area in connection with several copper thefts. They were also able to locate and arrest Rusty Lynn Pruitt, 52, of Hawkins on an outstanding warrant. Investigator Carolyn Tanner is currently working 37 open cases, including multiple copper theft cases and has identified suspects and obtained multiple warrants in ongoing cases. |
