Country Music Artist Tony Douglas has died.

According to family members, the Van Zandt County native passed away just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in an Athens Hospital. Douglas, 83, suffered from a long battle with lymphoma.

Douglas' family send out their love and appreciation to fans and friends.

Funeral services for Douglas have been scheduled for Saturday January, 26 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Athens. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Carroll – Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.
