Thursday morning at the Van Zandt County Courthouse a public Hearing will be held regarding the creation of the County Emergency Services District No. 3.

The Commissioner’s will then meet to discuss and consider granting or denying the petition, and if granting, fix the boundaries of the district.

The Commissioner’s would then discuss and consider ordering an election to confirm the creation of Van Zandt County Emergency Services District No. 3 and authorizing the levy of a tax not to exceed the rate allowed by Article 3, Section 48-e, of the Texas Constitution.
