1:51 a.m. Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Tractor Supply. It was found to be a vehicle that had a flat tire.

9:59 a.m. A hit and run was reported in the Ace Hardware parking lot. After reviewing video it was determined to be a known person with a trailer on the back of his pickup. The man was contacted and insurance information was given.

10:12 p.m. Melissa Marie Salazar, 34, of Mineola was arrested on a Wood County warrant after the vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped for a traffic violation on North Pacific Street.

11:11am Officers responded to an alarm call at a restaurant on North Pacific.  It was found that an employee had accidently set off the alarm.

1:33pm Mineola Community Care had an ex-employee criminally trespassed from the nursing home.

2:46 p.m. A welfare concern was reported for a man sleeping on the steps of the Humble Church on McDonald Street. When an officer checked on him he said someone was coming to pick him up.

3:22 p.m. A welfare concern was reported when a complainant witness a man and woman verbally arguing on the side of the roadway pulling an RV. An officer checked on the two and everything was fine. The two were staying at the Horse Pavilion at the Preserve.

5:14 p.m. Michael Hugh Landrum, 32, of Mineola was arrested for several Smith County warrants on Brenda Lane. Officers went to serve the warrants and Landrum took off running into a pasture. He was caught by one of the officers. DPS assisted on the arrest and transport.

7:16 p.m. An officer spoke with a resident on North Newsom Street about blocking the city alleyway.

7:30 p.m. A disturbance was reported on Baker Street. A resident reported his son assaulted him. When officers responded to the reported disturbance, the father said he was pushed by his son and he did not wish to file charges. No injuries were noted. A family violence report was completed.

9:03 p.m. Officers found a suspicious vehicle leaving the nature preserve. It was determined they had permission to be there to look at the stars.

11:19 a.m. An elderly man fell while at a business on East Broad Street. EMS responded, but the family was going to take the man to be checked for injuries.

2:06 p.m. Walmart reported a theft. This is under investigation.

11:49 p.m. An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle while patrolling at Second and Edwards. It was determined to belong to a resident that had limited parking.

12:01 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on North Pacific Street that was unable to maintain a single lane of traffic. An officer located the vehicle at a business on East Broad Street shortly after.

1:49 p.m. A 911 was received from a woman wanting to know how to get someone out of her residence. A man took the phone and said that his brother owned the home and hung up. Several attempts were made to contact the person back without success. The call was found to be in Wood County. Wood County was contacted and met the officer at the residence. Wood County took over the call.

2:33 p.m. An officer assisted Wood County S.O., EMS and Fire with an accident at Loop 564 and FM 1254.

5:39 p.m. Walmart reported a theft. This is under investigation.

5:53 p.m. Two vehicles racing was reported on North Pacific Street. An officer responded but did not find the pickup’s that were described.

8:04 p.m. A welfare concern was reported by a father that wished for the department to check on his children at a residence on East McDonald Street. An officer went to the residence but no one was there.

10:26 p.m. A man brought a woman into the lobby of the police department that needed medical attention. An ambulance was called and the woman was transported to the Emergency Room by EMS.

1:35 p.m. An officer assisted EMS when a woman fell at her home on North Newsom Street.

2:25 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Hwy. 37 S. headed toward town, driving slow, and all over the roadway. An officer responded to the area and waiting for the vehicle but never saw the vehicle come into town.

2:26 p.m. A welfare concern was reported by a family member that could not get in touch with their mother and she did not show up for work. An officer spoke with the mother and she was fine.

6:27 p.m. An officer assisted the city water department while they were working on a water leak on West Broad Street.

7:46p.m. A Sexual Assault was reported and later found to occur in Wood County. Wood County S.O. was contacted to take over the investigation.

9:54 p.m. Walmart reported two males that were acting strange in the store. The two were criminally trespassed at the request of the store.

10:51 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on North Pacific Street. A woman reported that she was telling her roommate to get her belongings and leave when the assault occurred. No injuries were reported and the woman decided to not file charges.

2:01 a.m. An officer checked on a juvenile female that was outside talking with a male subject at a residence on North Johnson Street. The parents were notified and the juvenile went inside for the night.

11:05 a.m. A business on East Broad Street reported a homeless man asking for a ride. An officer responded and utilized Ministerial Alliance to get the man a room for the night.

11:08 a.m. Aaron’s Rental reported a theft of service when a person did not pay the rental or return the property.

1:01 p.m. A resident on Minwood Street reported someone had shot through their window during the night possibly with a BB gun.

1:49 p.m. A welfare concern was reported from an ex- boyfriend in reference to his ex- girlfriend not answering the phone after taking some medication. Officers assisted EMS and the woman was transported to the hospital.

2:42 p.m. Officers assisted EMS and the fire department on a medical call at a business inside Walmart.

5:30 p.m. A parent reported to the MISD Police Department that her daughter did not come home from school. After a brief search, the student was found in the Band Hall.

10:10 a.m. A landlord reported a theft report when tenants took 2 air conditioner units when moving out of a rent house on North Pacific Street.

11:43 a.m. A business on North Pacific reported theft from an employee that reportedly took cash from the safe to pay for a scam the employee received on her cell phone, ordering her to get green dot cards, or she would be arrested by the Marshal’s Office. This is under investigation.

1:49 p.m. A business on Loop 564 reported finding a baggie of a white substance on the floor. An officer took possession of the narcotic to be destroyed.

6:44 p.m. An officer assisted a stranded motorist to move their vehicle off the roadway on West Blair Street.

7:56 p.m. A welfare concern was reported for a man that was in a business on 2 occasions on East Broad Street asking about getting a motel room for the night. The man was on foot and pushing a cart. The man was not there upon their arrival. Officers patrolled the area, looking for the man, but did not find him.

10:07 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reportedly sitting in the Brookshire’s parking lot for nearly two hours. An officer checked on the vehicle and it was unoccupied.

11:44 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was checked out by an officer at a business on East Broad Street. Everything was fine, it was just someone waiting for an employee at the business.
