On Monday night, we were in Quitman for the 13-3A baseball matchup between the Quitman Bulldogs and the Harmony Eagles. Both teams were scoreless after the 1st inning. In the 2nd inning, Harmony scored 2 runs off of 2 Quitman errors. Harmony continued to swing the bat well, and scored 3 runs in the 3rd and 4th innings, and tacked on a run in the 5th to take a 9-0 lead. Quitman was able to get a run in the bottom of the 5th on a sacrifice fly by Ty Holland. Harmony got a dominant pitching performance from Tucker Tittle and Boston Seahorn. Quitman didn’t get a hit until the inning, and only totaled 2 hits for the game. Harmony got the victory over Quitman by a score of 9-1. Cooper Wadding and Evan Patterson each knocked in 3 runs for the Eagles.
