The Harmony Eagles took on the Tatum Eagles Thursday Night in Game 1 of their Area Round series at Longview HS. Both teams were scoreless after 1 inning. In the top of the 2nd inning, Tanner Tittle led things off with a single, Tucker Tittle brought him home with an RBI triple, and Tucker scored on a fielders choice by Braxton Baker to give Harmony a 2-0 lead after 2 innings of play. In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Tatum cut the lead in half after Aiden Anthony singled and was brought home by Cam’Ron Redwine to make the score 2-1 after 3 innings. The 4th inning was scoreless for both teams. In the top of the 5th inning, Boston Seahorn led the inning off with a single and he came in to score following an RBI single by Tanner Tittle. That proved to be all Harmony needed to secure a 3-1 victory over Tatum in Game 1. Leading the way at the plate for Harmony was Tanner Tittle and Cooper Wadding with 3 hits a piece. As a team, Harmony racked up 14 hits in the game. On the mound, Tucker Tittle was nearly lights out. Tucker allowed just 1 run on 6 hits while striking out 10 and walking 2. Game 2 will be played Friday Night at 7 pm at Longview HS.
